macOS alert utility

DropReady

Light alert automation for the moments you do not want to miss.

Schedule a time, choose what should happen, and let DropReady remind you with a focused alert window, menu bar countdown, and optional sound.

What it does

Alerts that can take useful action

Open the right link

Launch a product page, meeting link, dashboard, or web app in the browser you choose.

Open documents and apps

Use alerts to bring up the file or application you need at the scheduled time.

Run Shortcuts

Trigger Apple Shortcuts by name for workflows you already manage in the Shortcuts app.

Focus timers

Start a timer from an alert, then add time when you need a few more minutes.

Calendar imports

Import an .ics event and turn it into a reminder, timer, or link-opening alert.

Missed alerts

If your Mac was off, DropReady keeps a missed-alert list so you can run, reschedule, or acknowledge items later.

How it works

Simple by design

  1. Create an alert with a title and time.
  2. Choose the action: reminder, timer, web page, document, app, or shortcut.
  3. Let DropReady run in the background from the menu bar.
  4. Acknowledge the alert when you are done.

Built for trust

DropReady is local-first. It does not scrape websites, bypass queues, automate checkout, or interact with protected purchase flows. It schedules reminders and opens user-configured actions.
